چکیده
In nature, some organisms have the ability to camouflage adapt environmental changes; they blend with environment by changing their skin colors. Such a phenomenon is of great significance for research adaptive materials. this study, we propose novel design scheme study angle-independent photonic materials and successfully prepare an electrically tunable multi-color display inverse opal gel (IOPG). After photopolymerization hydroxyethyl methacrylate ionizable monomer acrylic acid (AA) in long-range disordered template etching, obtained, presenting single structural color. The responsive color changes can be achieved at different angles. AA-IOPG from green blue-green when applying +4 V bias voltage orange −4 voltage. electrochromism mainly due local pH change caused water electrolysis under voltage, which leads swelling ratio. shows high tunability durability through repeated opposite tests, indicating that it promising conductive material.

Ionoprinted Multi-Responsive Hydrogel Actuators
We report multi-responsive and double-folding bilayer hydrogel sheet actuators, whose directional bending response is tuned by modulating the solvent quality and temperature and where locally crosslinked regions, induced by ionoprinting, enable the actuators to invert their bending axis. The sheets are made multi-responsive by combining two stimuli responsive gels that incur opposing and comple...
متن کاملElectro-actuated hydrogel walkers with dual responsive legs.
Stimuli responsive polyelectrolyte hydrogels may be useful for soft robotics because of their ability to transform chemical energy into mechanical motion without the use of external mechanical input. Composed of soft and biocompatible materials, gel robots can easily bend and fold, interface and manipulate biological components and transport cargo in aqueous solutions. Electrical fields in aque...
متن کاملAn electro-responsive hydrogel for intravascular applications: an in vitro and in vivo evaluation
There is a growing interest in using hydrogels for biomedical applications, because of more favourable characteristics. Some of these hydrogels can be activated by using particular stimuli, for example electrical fields. These stimuli can change the hydrogel shape in a predefined way. It could make them capable of adaptation to patient-specific anatomy even post-implantation. This is the first ...
متن کاملA robust smart window: reversibly switching from high transparency to angle-independent structural color display.
A smart window is fabricated from a composite consisting of elastomeric poly(dimethylsiloxane) embedded with a thin layer of quasi-amorphous silica nanoparticles. The smart window can be switched from the initial highly transparent state to opaqueness and displays angle-independent structural color via mechanical stretching. The switchable optical property can be fully recovered after 1000 stre...
متن کاملThe Color Calibration across Multi-Projector Display
Large plane displays are often achieved by combining tiled imaging elements, which give the appearance of a single, seamless display. However, this is difficult to realize in practical use, since differences in color will make the tiles distinct even if the geometric calibration is perfect. The paper presents an approach of color calibration using cubic Bspline. According to the theory of cubic...
